Technical and Level Designer

JOB DESCRIPTION

RaceWard Studio is seeking a Technical & Level Designer for our upcoming Titles (not only Racing).
The Technical & Level Designer will be required to help shape the tools and design implementation practices that will be used to expand the world and gameplay of our Games.

DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide input for the creation of technical workflows and pipelines;
  • Collaborate with all the different disciplines to uphold and help execute the game vision;
  • Creation, prototyping, scripting, implementation, and iteration of gameplay systems, player mechanics, in-engine tools, scripted scenarios, level and narrative design;
  • Assist the level and game designers as technical coach;
  • Propose improvements on the different tools and pipelines.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Strong familiarity with Unreal Engine 4, Blueprint scripting, and Sequencer required;
  • Strong passion for making and playing games;
  • Previous experience in the video game industry;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills;
  • Solid knowledge of scripting;
  • Ability to iterate and implement quickly without sacrificing quality;
  • Knowledge of the game production pipeline;
  • Extreme attention to detail;
  • Proficient in English, both spoken and written.
