UI Tech (Visual Programmer)

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a UI Tech to join our team, challenging a role that brings a good oversight of art, code and design knowledge. You will work in a cooperative, cross-disciplinary team environment, collaborating with people from all the fields, to implement and fine-tune game interfaces and systems with our proprietary and third-party engines. A strong ability of problem-solving could bring you to the top players of the project composition process.
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Interface production requested by design on different engines, especially Unreal;
- Visual programming;
- Collaborate with designers, artists, programmers and other teams to implement and fine-tune UI features;
- Implementing mockup realized by design and art;
- Event, animations, interactions composing;
- Follow UI implementation finding good solutions for every field;
- Data managing and revision for content needed in UI part, verifying its appearance on screen;
- Localization managing on implementation (screen space, font integration for languages,…);
- Ensure the technical quality of the project through tuning and bug fixing;
- Follow the existing development process and expose your ideas to improve them;
- Report the tasks’ progress to Team Lead.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Basic knowledge of programming methodologies (OOP, Data-driven, markup, etc.);
- Knowledge of math, vectors, matrices and linear algebra;
- Visual programming experience (or at least web programming);
- Layout and page composition knowledge;
- Interaction logic knowledge (user buttons, interactions, selection mechanics);
- 2D and 3D graphics principles;
- Good problem solving, conceptual and analytical skills;
- Good organizational skills, including the ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritize effectively;
- Comfortable working within a multidisciplinary team;
- Open mind, strong communication skills and ability to work in a team;
- Proficiency in English;
- You’re passionate about games and creating games;
- Interest over the user’s view of the game.

- Having developed personal projects;

- Knowledge of the Unreal Engine;
- Interest on graphics (materials, shaders, VFX)
- 3D, materials and shaders creation and support for UI part.
