RaceWard Studio is an Italian video game developer, creating state-of-the-art racing games. Driven on principles of ensuring excellence and developing a highly rewarding professional environment, the studio boasts mastery of leading-edge technology, fused together with a team of veterans which combine experience, skills and passion.

The company is currently working on a new IP: RiMS Racing, a racing game with never-before-seen level of details, featuring the best-in-class motorbikes from officially licensed global-leading manufacturers.

In 2019 the company became part of the Nacon group, which is also handling the worldwide publishing of RiMS Racing across all major gaming formats. Raceward Studio is now one of the largest videogame companies in Italy and it continues to expand.

MARCO PONTE

CEO

As CEO, Marco is responsible for overseeing all studio operations and steering the RaceWard team towards a singular shared vision. Marco’s primary task is to lead the studio with care and attention, whilst ensuring the team are pushing the envelope on racing and simulation experiences.

CLAUDIO GIACOPAZZI

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR

As Business Development Director at RaceWard Studio, Claudio supports in a variety of disciplines across the Studio. Whilst taking lead on all things related to business relationships, Claudio is also key in analyzing additional opportunities spanning across Legal, Finance and Marketing.

ANDREA VALENTI

CFO

As CFO, Andrea oversees the company’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing. He identifies and addresses financial risks for the company. Andrea is also bringing his experience in developing the best conditions and company benefits for workers.

Sergio Rocco

Executive Producer

Experience and wisdom its characteristics. As Executive Producer, Sergio maintains an extremely vast knowledge of each area of development. His role places him in a position where he must maintain dialogue with each and every team, whilst understanding their every production need.

Marco Marconi

Technical Director

As Technical Director at RaceWard Studio, Marco manages the software design of the game experience, the development of technologies necessary for the project as well as the integration of third-party software. Marco also enjoys getting his hands into the code as a senior graphics programmer.

Mauro Ferrari

Art Director

As Art Director at RaceWard Studio, Mauro is responsible for driving the artistic vision of every company project, ensuring and exploring every possible synergy between art and technology. Mauro enjoys being able to directly get his hands into the development pipeline and art workflow. Mauro has the daily pleasure of managing a highly passionate and qualified core team of artists who constantly push beyond pre-conceived limits.

Christian Orlandi

Head Gameplay Programmer

As Head of Gameplay Programmers, Christian’s main task is to plan, detail and supervise the work of the game programmers at RaceWard Studio. One important area of focus is to mediate and enforce understanding between three very different videogame disciplines – designers, artists and programmers, to ensure that a singular vision is followed and worked to.

Fabio Respighi

Lead Designer

Fabio’s Lead Designer role is in charge of the planning, detailing, and supervision of the work passed through the team of game designers. He works to establish standards for formal design documentation and is instrumental in deciding the suitable tools for each project. Fabio is also tasked with ensuring top team performance, through managing any situation hindering the game design objectives. Additionally, he actively participates in the creation and development of the game design and supports the Creative Director.

Luca Piccina

Audio director

Luca takes charge of the audio department at RaceWard Studio. His main mission is to recreate your favorite motorbike’s engine roar as faithfully as possible and treat your audio senses! Let’s start revving!

Marco Nicolini

Lead QA

Marco is a self-described Sherlock Holmes and R2-D2 hybrid, resulting in an interesting and unique blend of being “half sharp-eyed and half annoying”. Marco is always willing to help everyone to improve the quality of their work.
