As Head of Gameplay Programmers, Christian’s main task is to plan, detail and supervise the work of the game programmers at RaceWard Studio. One important area of focus is to mediate and enforce understanding between three very different videogame disciplines – designers, artists and programmers, to ensure that a singular vision is followed and worked to.
BRIEF CAREER DESCRIPTION
Christian began his programming journey on the Commodore 64, creating his first video game in Basic during the great bedroom coding boom! He carries this fun passion through to this very day, always aware of balancing responsibilities and deadlines with the same excitement and joy he felt in making his first video game. During his career, Christian has worked with several Italian companies such as New Babylon (co-founder), Milestone, Ovosonico and 3DClouds, participating in the creation of over 30 published games on PC, PlayStation® 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation® 3, Xbox 360, Wii, PSP, PlayStation® Vita and PlayStation® 2.
